Georgetown

Georgetown, the country’s densely populated capital is the largest. Many internationals flock to this city, which is the seat of government and provides the most support in terms of housing, education, entertainment and healthcare options.

Outside of Georgetown

Other cities outside of Georgetown are more on the scale of big towns. They are quickly developing to meet the needs of a growing number of residents. By number of inhabitants, the bauxite-rich town of Linden is second. New Amsterdam is third. It is located on the bank of the Berbice river houses a port, hospital educational institutions and many colonial buildings.
